Description and use

The TYPE R Mesh Shelter is designed to protect plants from wild rodents specifically, while optimising costs.
Made in UV-stabilised high-density polyethylene (HDPE), assembled in close mesh (10mm x 10mm diamonds), to last a minimum of two years in the field in standard conditions. It is tubular, with a 14-cm diameter.
It requires the application of a tutor system, preferably two tutors planted one opposite the other, into the soil at a depth corresponding approximately to one third of the shelter height.
It is particularly suitable for use in forest and woodland creation, where the large presence of hares represents the greatest threat to the rooting of the young plant.
